Don't know what to eat WITH your main meat? These oven roasted green beans are crispy, and the lemon will add a touch of acidity that will bring out the great flavour.
500g Fresh Green Beans
2x Tablespoons Olive or Coconut oil
2x Teaspoons of dried rosemary
2 teaspoons of dried sage
Freshly Ground pepper, to taste.
1x Lemon, thinly sliced, seeds removed
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Add washed and trimmed green beans to a casserole dish. Pour oil over top of beans.
Sprinkle rosemary and sage, and mix ingredients until well coated. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
Place the thin lemon slices in an even layer over the green beans. bake for 30-35minutes until they are crispy.
